Beginner Golfers
A Beginner golfer is new to the game or has only occasionally played nine holes for 2 to 3 years on short courses and may or may not keep score. You may have had lessons but have not yet mastered the basics. Beginner golfers new to Golfaround are required to register for Level I.
LEVEL I Beginner
COST $267 plus GST

This 5 week program is the perfect starting point for new or beginner golfers. Instruction takes place at locations where you can have fun learning the game of golf. Sessions will cover the fundamentals of the swing, golf etiquette and long and short game basics. There is a meal following the last lesson.

Intermediate and Advanced Golfers
You have played and practiced regularly for 4 or more years on regulation size golf courses scoring between 45 & 60 for 9 holes or 90 & 120 for 18 holes. You have had lessons and have mastered the basics, know your weaknesses and where your game needs improvement. New members to Golfaround are required to register for one of the following Levels depending upon your skill level.
LEVEL II Intermediate

This 5 week program is designed for the golfer who wants to refine their techniques through increased knowledge and understanding of how the swing works. You have the basics down and want to take your game to the next level. These sessions will help you to improve your technique and you will work on the finer points of your game. There is a meal following the last lesson.

Spring Tune-Up
COST $180 plus GST

This 3 hour program, planned over 2 weeks, and will help kick start your season. You want to have your long and short game tuned-up and put into perspective. This program will focus on detecting errors and correcting problem areas. There is a meal following the last lesson.

Short Game
COST $180 plus GST
Ratio 6:1
This 3 hour program, planned over 2 weeks, allows you to learn about a particular short game shot in complete detail. This program will focus on shot set-up, execution, and equipment, and will also offer tips and drills on how to perform the shot reliably. This short game lesson will help you improve your putting, chipping, pitching and sand play techniques. There is a meal following the last lesson.

Course Management
COST $269 plus GST
Ratio 4:1
This 4 hour program, planned over 2 weeks, targets the player scoring 110 or below for 18 holes. You have played regularly on regulation size courses for a minimum of 5+ years. Enjoy a personalized approach learning game strategy, shot execution and effectiveness on the course. There is a meal following the last lesson.

Swing Check
Cost $50 plus GST
Ratio 6:1
Is your swing broken? Are you having problems with your driver, long irons, fairway woods, hybrids? Do you want more power? The focus is on detecting errors and correcting swing problem areas that once corrected will get you more power and distance.
Available to members who have completed any of the other teaching programs this year.
