We will be staying at The Trickle Creek Lodge in Kimberley BC and playing both Trickle Creek and Bootleg Gap. The golf course is woven through the rugged alpine environment, crossing creeks and diving with the slopes of North Star Mountain, Trickle Creek Golf Resort is one of the most thrilling golf courses you’ll ever play. The 4½ star Trickle Creek Lodge is only a 3 wood away from the 18th tee. This premiere resort hotel is the ideal venue from which to base our golf get-a-way. The one bedroom condos have full kitchens, living rooms with a fireplace and where you can admire the scenery and sip on a beverage. You can enjoy lounging or swimming at the outdoor pool in the sunshine, or if you prefer soak in the hot tubs. Bootleg Gap is a natural beauty which features an 18 hole, a unique 9 hole course and one of the best practice facilities in the area. Bootleg’s 18 hole course combines some spacious driving holes with some tighter riverside holes where accuracy is at a premium. The “signature” hole is the 193 yard par-three 12th, which requires a tee shot usually affected by wind to a well protected, large undulated green situated 50 feet below. The 12th begins a thrilling three-hole stretch that rims the beautiful St.Mary River.

2018 Spring
Borneo & China Mission Hills
We think it is time to experience something unique again so in Spring of 2018, how about Borneo and China Mission Hills? Small change people Penang now not Mission Hills
Borneo is the third largest island in the world and is densely covered with rain forests. It is surrounded by the South China sea in the North and the Java sea and Karimata Strait to the South. It is rich with biological diversification, especially flora and fauna. There are 15000 species of flowering plants, 3000 species of trees, 221 species of terrestrial mammals and 420 species of birds. It is a natural habitat to the gentle great ape, the Orang-Utan. Also the island is home to other endangered species such as the Sumatran Rhino, Clouded Leopard and Asian Elephant.
The rainforest of Borneo is 130 million years old, making it the oldest in the world. It is also disappearing faster than any rainforest on earth, so it’s at the very top of our “see it while you can” list. Borneo is the center of evolution for many rare and endemic species, and one of the only remaining natural habitats for endangered Orang-Utans, proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants and Sumatran rhinoceros. Like the Galapagos, many species on Borneo evolved in unique ways.
Golfing in the wild of the tropical rainforest has been described as Asia’s Best Kept Secret. Sabah & Sarawak are the destinations in Borneo for history, mystery, romance and exotic golf adventures.
Known affectionately as the Pearl of the Orient, Penang is an up and coming travel destination that offers much excitement A fascinating fusion of the East and West, Penang embraces the modern world while retaining its traditions and old world charm. The easy going lifestyle on Penang is a result of the melting pot of cultures, religions and food. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town in particular, is a total fusion of Chinese, Malay, Indian and other races, evidence of which is apparent everywhere, from cuisine to architecture.
The fascinating culture is complemented by golden beaches and tranquil seas. It is truly a tropical paradise that offers something for everyone, from historical buffs and nature park enthusiasts to those just wanting to relax on a sun-drenched beach.
2019 Fall
The Emerald Isle
Quite aside from offering countless superb golf courses, Ireland is without doubt one of the finest destinations for the visitor in the world. Though continuous days of sunshine cannot always be guaranteed, in terms of culture, history, friendliness, countryside and coastline, Ireland is simply without parallel. It is said that Ireland, once visited, is never forgotten and for once the blarney rings true. And if Ireland isn’t quite the land of the little people, fairy forts and leprechauns (which some still insist it is by the way), there is still something magical about the place. Perhaps it’s the ghostly presence of castle ruins and ancient Celtic graves, perhaps it’s due to the impossibly lush countryside and magical coastline or maybe it’s the inherent gregarious nature of the people. Whatever the reason, Ireland remains a beauty to behold and a treasure to be remembered forever. (Source: EuropeGolf.com)
