Too many places, too little time. This is how we feel when trying to decide what the travel plans for next year should be.
Italy has always been on my bucket list but we have also seen an amazing itinerary for Catalonia Spain so now it is decision time.
Catalonia is an autonomous region of Spain located on the Mediterranean Sea next to France. The difference from the rest of Spain is noticeable, not only in the language, but in the festivals, cuisine and the regions unique history. It is blessed with a wonderful climate, a rich history and friendly people. The north coast of Catalonia is called Costa Brava. This area of Spain is known for its sunny beaches and beautiful scenery.
Tuscany is located in the west central region of Italy and is known for its picturesque countryside, attractive cities and rich art treasures. It is a very picturesque part of the world that features rolling hills, historical buildings and a pleasant Mediterranean climate. The capital and largest city is Florence where we could visit Michelangelo Square or visit world class art galleries. Then, of course no trip to Italy would be complete without a visit to Rome.
Both areas boast world class gastronomy, wines and of course some unique golf. Tuscany is rich in golf courses and offers the golfer a variety of beautiful ones. In Catalonia it is also fair to say that the variety and quality of golf courses is also exceptional.
