It was a beautiful day for our annual Mystery Bus Trip the skies were blue, the sun was shinning and 44 happy golfers arrived at Golden Golf Club in good time to relax for a bit before teeing off. John, our bus driver, had everyone guessing as he tried to confuse them as to where we were going, however 6 gals did guess Golden and split the kitty of $84.00, they got $14.00 each, don’t spend it all in one place ladies. Golden is a gem and it had been a while since we had been here, but what a treat. The surrounding forests, rivers, babbling brooks and mountains offered us stunning views in every direction. The theme this year was “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get”. We can’t take credit for the idea as it was something the Inglewood Member Guest tournament did a while ago and we just made it our own. It was a great way to even out the playing field and everyone really had a lot of fun. After our round Soroya and her team treated us to an amazing Hole in One banquet, it was the best meal we have experienced in a long time, the piece de resistance was dessert which fit into our theme, individual chocolate pyramids all gooey and delicious inside. Matt the head professional was very happy with the pace of play, good job ladies. We arrived home in good time and the trip was made enjoyable by the serenading accompanied and led by Donna Gray and her guitar.
