Another great season must come to an end and we do hope you all had a great time and will want to return next year.
We want to thank you all for your support this season, we think we had a great season and we did not have to do much in the way of cancelling or rescheduling. It was probably the best season we have had in the last five years. I know Edmonton Golfaround was not quite as fortunate but it was your turn LOL. Many of you came up to the plate when we needed help to tee off and we are very grateful that you were able to do this, it helped so very much.
This season saw the introduction of our new web site and, we think, an improved registration process. Everyone had to be a “new member” because of this. Next year you will only have to go into the member area and sign up, so don’t forget your member number. The site and form will be updated in December and available for you to sign up in January. As in the past we will open up to new members in February. Some of you joined as an Associate this year as space was not available for full time, so if you want full time next year you will have to choose one of the Levels, but you will certainly have priority if you register in January.
Keep an eye on the news feeds as we will be having our usual winter practice sessions at the Dome at Fox Hollow. This will probably commence sometime in November. In addition there will be some stories about our trip to Turkey, not everything that happens in Turkey has to stay in Turkey. We will also be making a decision about travel in 2015 and the information will be sent out to you. As many of you know the travel group is restricted in numbers and in the past has filled quite rapidly.
