Only in Calgary does the season start with a snow storm and go out with “Snowtember!!!” I am sure many of you recall the Nine & Dine that turned into a Wine & dine due to a spring snow storm? Seriously though what a tragic event and it really is a shame to see the devastation to so many trees in our our beautiful neighborhoods. Now were are back into the Indian Summer we all look forward to, so we can carry on with golfing before winter sets in for good.
The winter months aren’t so bad; we do have some things things to look forward to. In Calgary we will begin hitting balls again in November , exact dates and details will be communicated next month. The Edmonton Gals do some virtual golf and details will be shared a little later. You may think we are pretty serious golfers to want to go and hit balls all winter, but not so, it’s mostly about the socialization and dinner that attracts most of us.
We will also be offering seasoned golfers the Spring Training in Palm Springs package which will be in April of 2015. The details and registration will occur in November 2014.
