As 2021 comes to an end, I am sure we are all is getting very excited to enter into the new year. 2022 will be the year where everyone can start afresh. We’ve all come a long way handling all the restrictions from the past couple of years owing to recent scenarios around the world. And we all deserve to be proud of where we are today even if it’s not where we thought it may be. This past season started off with some challenges, but Golfaround’s members certainly rose to the occasion and met the challenges head on. Life is short and it is important to live each day to it’s fullest, which we did. We will have memories of great golf: fun experiences and most of all great people to have fun with.
The beginning of every year holds a lot of positivity and good energy and vibes. It also brings the hope of a new beginning and new opportunities. We are hoping for a better future where there is no longer the lingering threat of the COVID-19 and life can go back to as it was before the pandemic. Even though the rising threat of the omicron variants tend to diminish our hopes and prayers we will carry on. The 2022 season for Golfaround will give us the same enjoyment that we have always appreciated but we still will have some challenges, I am sure. The nine-hole day league will feel the effects of a few less choices as a few of the golf courses have decided to only have 9-hole play in the evening. We are happy to say that we have the same great support from the majority of our golf courses, and we are so looking forward to a great 2022 season. We are hoping that we can again experience the fun of the Mystery Bus trip and a Play & Stay, time will tell. The same stands for our winter practice at the Domes, the plan is in place, and we will all keep our fingers crossed.
The website has been updated and the existing members will be able to register as of January 1st, we will open to new members on February 1st. As in the past if you are wanting to change from the league you played in last year, the sooner you register the better. We are hopeful to have early indoor lessons in February & March so if you are interested you will need to register early in January.
