In the past we have had numerous inquiries about handicapping and this is something that Golfaround does not do. I like to keep a handicap so I obtain a virtual membership with Alberta Golf and Golf Canada http://golfcanada.ca/join/ each year because I am not a member at a golf club.
Members can record acceptable scores, view their scoring records and maintain an official Golf Canada Handicap Factor from any computer that has internet access anywhere in the world. Members can also view the scoring records of any other Alberta Golf and Golf Canada members who are using the Golf Canada Score Centre as part of the peer review process.
There is a Bronze level membership for free and a Gold level for $49.95. I buy a Gold level membership as we like to support the industry and there are some extra benefits that are of interest to me.
