The last member of the Dirty Dozen is Fran Esler, but back in 1997 we knew her as Fran Burrows, and I do believe that her e-mail is still fran.b. We knew Fran from the old Par W days, she worked in corporate office for Safeway and I do believe they were a major sponsors of Par W. Fran probably is the reason we have done the traveling we have done. Long time ago she was the person who said to us we should go somewhere to golf this Winter, somewhere warm and someone else said what about the guys, they should come too. We said , OMG, taking a group out of the country is scary, but that is when we planned Laughlin, our first international trip. It was only a short one because we thought if everything went wrong we won`t have to put up with it for too long, it was an outstanding success and so that was the start of Golfaround the World. Fran married Len back in 2005 and they came to our Africa trip on their honeymoon in 2006. Funny thing happened when we arrived at the Kariega Lodge, because Fran did not have time to change her passport with her new last name, they were put in separate beds, poor Len !!! since, they have joined us on many trips and even before Fran and Len were married Fran came to Laughlin, Cuba and Thailand . If you want a job done right Fran is the gal to do it. Since her retirement and even before she has always been very active in EWI, organizing the ALS Golf Tournement and many other volunteer functions. This is the last of the Dirty Dozen with the exception of Di & Kristy and what happens in Golfaround stays in Golfaround.
