Marg Hardstaff and Shirley Stogre, two babes from Okotoks and both bring to mind some great memories. Clem our blow up doll made his debute because of Marg. One night driving home from golf she thought she was being followed. At a special birthday a couple of the dirty dozen presented Clem as a gift so that Marg would always have a passenger in the car. From then on Clem was passed along to others who were having special birthdays. He travelled to Cuba and danced with a bride, good thing our luggage was not checked on that trip. He had one to many at Shirley’s and had to spend the night on the couch, and he visited many others until one of the gals wore him out and we had to retire him. Shirley can always be counted on, she shows up rain or shine even snow travelling from Okotoks to anywhere in the city. I don’t think she has every missed a pool party and she always participates in water volley ball and never got her hair wet, well except for one year. Both now have fella’s in their lives, Shirley is still a Golfaround member and Marg has been in touch and will be at the 20 yr Anniversary party Aug 20 at Cottonwood.
