They introduced Golfaround the night of orientation for the CP Women’s Open and the Golfaround gals cheered, it certainly made us feel proud. 47 ladies volunteered to marshal holes 2 & 3 on the Raven Course at Priddis Greens, what a beautiful course and setting. We picked up our gear for the event and were orientated to our roles. We all got red shirts, clear plastic knap sacks and a choice of head wear, don’t you just love the bucket hats!!! We survived another CP Women`s Open, man was it cold this year what at difference from 2009 when all we wanted was water, this year we needed coffee, tea and hot chocolate with a little juice in it to warm the cockles of our heart. We enjoyed the ladies we worked with and had the pleasure of getting to know them better. When it is cold you have to snuggle up. Thank you ladies for helping out.
