We have a bit of history in my family with golf. Not only to my Dad, Step-mom, brothers, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews all golf, we have a bit of a history with hole-in-ones.
My Dad had one out in Penticton, my brother has had two in Edmonton and his wife had one the first time she golfed! I got mine at Bear Mountain in Victoria Aug 5, 2005. We are all hackers but love the game and we are all proud to have the bragging rights that come with getting an Ace!!!
Since the odds of getting a hole-in-one are 12,750 to one for an amateur golfer, we have a pretty amazing family record. I read about one family in Edmonton that has had 13 Aces, so we have a way to go. We are having a big family golf tournament in Merrit, BC Aug 22nd, so I am hoping that the family tradition ‘might’ carry on there!!!
