Today they feel proud to be a part of growing the game, of the positive impact they have had in people’s lives, and of the relationships they have developed.
Golfaround’s popularity has increased by leaps and bounds over the past decade. It truly is in a league of its own offering more choices, more variety, and more value.
Networking opportunities are numerous but above all the camaraderie, and the help given to assist the female golfer improve and enjoy the game of golf, transcends everything else.
About the Founders
Dianne and Kristy Hutton are the mother and daughter team who own and operate Golfaround.
Dianne, a registered nurse, had a long career in hospital administration during which she developed considerable organizational and logistical skills. Kristy had a long and varied corporate managerial career in the oil and gas sector and also possesses planning, organizing and communication skills.
Early retirement for Dianne and downsizing for Kristy motivated the twosome to take the self-employment plunge. Prior to the launch of Golfaround, they had just started taking up the game of golf so their beginner status helped them understand what it was like as a beginner golfer on the golf course with no knowledge.
These two women are passionate about what they do and their enthusiasm for assisting other women enjoy the game while having have fun is paramount. Both of these gals are people-oriented and fun-loving and they make things more fun for others by their enjoyment. They live in the moment, and love new experiences.
Golfaround members find them friendly, adaptable, open-minded and flexible, with a broad range of interests and abilities.
